Keystone High School Canoe Creek Watershed Project:
A group was recently formed at Keystone High School consisting of high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors who have recognized the need for improvement in the community by providing healthy aquatic systems especially in the Canoe Creek Watershed. The mission of the Canoe Creek Watershed project at Keystone High School is to benefit the community by improving water quality and the health of the area around the streams by testing waters and removing pollution from surrounding land. This project is also designed to provide high school students with more knowledge in environmental and biological sciences by increasing awareness of real life circumstances and situations through hands-on experience.
